Fall leaves, and Telluride Trout!
Posted on 18 September 2017
The cool mornings and changing aspen leaves are a clear sign that fall has landed in Telluride. The fishing has been GREAT! Low water has pushed all of the fish into predictable "holes" and the shorter days = advantage angler. Hopper season is coming to an end but fish are still looking up for caddis, several different may flies, and stimmies have fooled them this week. The streamer attack is on, with fish of all kinds and sizes giving chase, try a dead drift and let it swing in the end.
As always, wade safe and catch em all!!!
